Principal's Welcome

Dear Parents,
We are excited to welcome you to the 2014-2015 school year at the Early Learning Center at Park Hills. I am very excited about working with each of you as we embark upon our new journey together. The first day of school for students is Thursday, August 21, 2014.
If you are new to the school, I look forward to getting to know you and your child. Therefore, I would love for you to stop by and introduce yourself. I’ll be delighted to tell you all the wonderful things we have in store for you and your child this year.

Superintendent Visits White House for Summit

Superintendent Visits White House for Summit
Dr. Russell Booker joined 100 school leaders from model districts nationwide who were selected by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in the first National Connected Superintendents Summit held Wednesday, November 19, at the White House. President Barack Obama, U.S. Secretary of Education Arnie Duncan, and senior U.S. Department of Education staff recognized the selected superintendents for their leadership in helping transition their districts to digital learning.
The meeting was building on the momentum of Obama’s ConnectED Initiative, designed to enrich K-12 education for every student in America. The initiative aims to connect 99% of students across the country to broadband in five years, and is about empowering teachers and students with the best technology and the ability to make the most of it.
