Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year at the NAEYC Accredited, Early Learning Center at Park Hills. I am very excited about working with each of you as we embark upon our new journey together.
If you are new to the school, I look forward to getting to know you and your child. Therefore, I would love for you to stop by and introduce yourselves. I’ll be delighted to tell you all the wonderful things we have in store for you and your child this school year.

Spartanburg High ranked among America’s top high schools
For the 6th consecutive year, SHS has been named by The Washington Post as one of America’s Most Challenging High Schools. SHS is one of 11 in the state to make the Post’s annual list, which identifies high schools that are excelling in preparing students for college-level work. The news magazine collected data on more than 22,000 schools for the report, which for the second time time included graduation rates as a factor in the rankings.

Friendly Reminders

Office Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Breakfast ends at 8:15 for car riders.
Always send a note explaining your child’s absences from school.
Early Dismissal ends at 12:00 P.M. Written excuses may be required.
All car riders must be picked up by 2:30. Be on-time to receive your child from the school bus.
Students should always be walked to the school bus.
Students should always be picked up from the bus stop.
Do not park across the street for drop-off or pick-up.
Remember The ELC dress code when entering the building.
Shades should not be worn in the building by men or women for safety reasons.
Men should remove their hats upon entering the building.

Our mission is to prepare children for kindergarten.
Our vision, at the ELC, is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment utilizing best practices that lay the foundation for school readiness.
